The Good Samaritan

We are launching a new series this Sunday called, LAVISH. We will look at some of the stories Jesus told as recorded by Luke. We will find that Luke calls us to a radical generosity in the way we live our lives. We begin this Sunday with the parable of the Good Samaritan. The Samaritan in the parable is lavish in his care for the wounded traveler. He spares no expense for a stranger who, quite possibly, has no means of repaying this kindness.
