Mouth Muscles

August 18, 2019 | Kris Vos

The Bible tells us that the tongue is powerful. We should never underestimate the power of the words that we say. Our words can have a profound positive impact but they can also do damage. That makes me think I should have a better filter. Sometimes I blurt things out in haste that I shouldn't. God wired me up to be a guy who processes things by verbalizing. That can get me in trouble sometimes. Maybe you've had those moments when you've "stuck your foot in your mouth" or you wish you could take back what you said. How do we learn to speak more good than bad, more blessing than destruction? That's what we are talking about in our final installment of Jim Class.
