God appointed Solomon and gifted Solomon to build a temple with the goal of being present with His people. This Sunday we will revisit the unique role of the temple in God's plan to rescue us. Solomon's temple no longer stands. It has been replaced by another temple. The goal of this new temple is the same as the old temple: God desires to be present with His people. He is with us. He is "Immanuel" which means God with us.
Series Information
Our Christmas series is called Pursuit of the King. The Good News is the King is not far from anyone of us. He has revealed Himself. He does not conquer our wills with the force of His power and might (though He could). He overwhelms us with His grace. Join us at Sunlight this Christmas season as we pursue the King.
