As the Holy Spirit grew the church in the wake of the resurrection, key leaders began to write down the story. No doubt there was a need for accuracy and clarity about the events surrounding the life of Jesus. So, eye witness accounts were recorded and the teachings of Jesus were spelled out so they could be delivered all over the world.
